LinguaStream
Resources
One of the goals of the LinguaStream platform is to encourage and ease the sharing of NLP-related resources. The environment itself is designed that way: it is quite easy to share a grammar, a set of rule, an annotated document or even a whole processing stream.
In order to facilitate the transfer of such resources, we set up a Wiki website were anyone can browse for existing resources for LinguaStream, and add new ones. Many kinds of resources can be found there:
- Rules and grammars for the various formalisms offered by the platform: unnification grammars (EDCG) macro regular expressions (MRE), constraint grammars (CDML), ...
- More "static" resources such as lexicons or corpora.
- Scripts (Groovy, Beanshell, Python) or transformation rules (XSLT, XQuery) performing various tasks.
- Complete processing streams, would they be sample applications or actual processing tools.
And of course, everyone is encouraged to contribute its own resources. It is very easy to do, since the Wiki offers a very simple syntax that allows content to be created quickly and conveniently.

For the time being, all plugins are bundled with the main distribution.
