LinguaStream 2 is licenced free of charge to academic users, for research purposes only. Please use the contact form to request your copy.

Installation

LinguaStream can run on any system supporting the Java virtual machine (J2SE) version 1.5 or newer, including MS-Windows, Linux and MacOS X. The Java Runtime Envrionment (JRE) must be present on your system before installing LinguaStream. It is available free of charge at www.java.com.

To install LinguaStream on Mac OS X, simply mount "LinguaStream.dmg", and drag the "LinguaStream" application into your "Application" folder (or elsewhere if you like).

To install LinguaStream under other platforms (including Windows and Linux), double-click on "LinguaStreamInstaller.jar", and follow the instructions.

If your system can not execute JAR files itself, the installation process can be launched with the following command: java -jar LinguaStreamInstaller.jar. Note that the Java virtual machine must be installed before launching the installer. After installation, use shortcuts that have been created on the desktop and/or the start menu.
